About & résumé

I'm a third-year MEng Biomedical Engineering student at UCL, with a minor in Modern Applications of Engineering Mathematics. My work so far has combined experimental testing and hardware with data analysis, mainly in Python and MATLAB.

Since July 2026 I've been a research student in the MISI group at the UCL Hawkes Institute, funded by a Research Ignition Award. I designed a test campaign on six types of optical fibre for optical ultrasound probes used in pituitary surgery, built the test rig, and wrote the Python pipeline that processes the recordings into a 405,000-row dataset. The results identified the 200 µm fibre as the best option, and I'm now fabricating a probe from it for my final-year project.

I've also completed internships in pharmaceutical R&D, industrial cybersecurity and hospital electromedicine. I'm looking for a summer 2027 internship in data science or quantitative research.
